There are other options to treat yeast infection other than going to the doctor and getting antibiotics. Some might even say they are more effective than the antibiotics. I am talking about curing yeast infection at home, so called home remedies.
Let me get you some of the facts of life straight up; the sky is blue, antibiotics do not get rid of yeast infection and my aunt Dora makes the world greatest oatmeal cookies. The last one might be one of the lesser known facts of life but in my family it sure is a fact.
People have been asking this question for years though. Why do people get reoccurring yeast infections? Should the medicine not have gotten the body rid of the infection? The answer to that is sadly no. Antibiotics are not capable of treating the yeast but merely it keeps the symptoms down, without tackling the infection itself. So antibiotics are not really the answer to yeast infection.
But thankfully there is a solution. Home remedies have for centuries been used for all types of infections. Lets take simple things you can do for example. Supplements and changes in your diet are sure to help you in this fight with yeast infection. Sometimes we are just not eating what is good for us. Many of us wear tight fitting jeans that are so in style right now, and although once in a while should not be a problem, but if you are suffering from yeast infection the cigarette leg jeans are not the right clothing to be wearing right now.
The same goes for pantyhose and leggings. Make sure not to wear tight jeans when you have yeast infection and be careful not to wear them too regularly because they do pose a threat to you vaginal area, especially if you are a long time sufferer of yeast infection.
